- Transport completed orders to the shipping dock staging area.
- Secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork at the end of shift.
Order Selector Qualifications
All warehouses are not the same, but some common qualifications for getting a warehouse order selector job can include:
- Be 18 years of age.
- Have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift, stack, and pull products off shelves of various heights.
- Lift products weighing 10-50 pounds regularly. Some products may weigh even more.
- Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry room).
- Pass a drug test and criminal background check.
- May be required to work overtime.
- May need forklift certification.
